CHRISTMAS EVE- Avery got some new Christmas Pajamas from Aunt Jess. We had the kids pose in front of the tree for a cute picture and I decided to do so

I am not exactly sure why the kids started throwing their hands in the air, but I was able to get some cute shots. Unfortunately, Connor got hidden behind Kenny.

Our Nativity: Jess, Gentry and Avery were Angels. Connor and George were sheep. Kenny was Mary. Lawson was baby Jesus. Andrew was Joseph and Josh was the Donkey. I narrated the story and my mom and dad watched with delight at how big their family has grown.

My cute little sheep. I need to teach him how to smile with his eyes open.

Josh really captured the spirit of being the donkey.

This was at our Christmas Eve Family Party at the Palomar. All of the kids loved climbing on the stack of tables and then getting pushed around the room. I was really nervous watching this, but we kept a close eye on Avery.

We also played some Minute to Win It games. Getting a cookie from your forehead to your mouth is very difficult. I was unable to succeed at this task.

Here are the boys attempting this amazing feat.

Kenny's birthday was on the 14th of December so my mom made her a gumball machine cake. All of the kids loved picking of the gumballs. I think I also saw a lot of the adults sneak some gumballs.

My mom and Avery were playing on the bleachers.

A group of most of the girl cousins. We had a few missing. We will have to try to get them all here next time.

A sweet picture with our awesome Grandpa Riding. I love this guy so much.

A picture of my Mom, Grandpa , Aunt Camille (in the back), and Aunt Dana.

A trio of pretty ladies.

Lawson was pretty tired by the end of the night.

We brought Chase's picture so he could be part of the fun.

Jess's kids with Santa. They all did really well sitting on his lap.

Avery was a little weary of Santa. She wouldn't look at him the whole time, but at least she didn't scream. Score one for us.

Avery loves her Grandpa Mecham and chocolate chip cookies.

My mom, Chase and my Uncle Steve.

Dallin, Chase, and Nick (Nick was really showing some love for Chase)

Chase and his big sister Jess.

Kara, Chase, Gentry, Brooklyn, Lawson, and Mary.

Me, Grandpa and Freddy Boy.

Here is another trio of ladies, who are all pregnant. Shar is due in January. Shannon is due in April and I am due in June. In this picture I am 14 weeks along.

Kyle decided he wanted to be a part of our club. The only thing is can contribute is a big belly. No baby for him.

CHRISTMAS DAY-
Jordan made my dad this antler holder for Christmas. My dad can even mount a stuffed deer head on top of it.

Avery loves licorice and Aunt Dana

Kambri loved the book she got for Christmas.

She also loved the Minnie Mouse from Grandma and Grandpa Mecham.

Jordan got some lovely basketball pants.

Kambri was so cute in her Christmas outfit.

We got my mom and dad a bocce ball set, a croquet ball set, a dvd player and a ceiling fan for the kitchen. George put the fan up later that day with Josh as his helper.

Josh got a dvd of the Giants winning the World Series.

Jess got a cushy neck pillow.

Avery loved her Legos.

And she can't just take them out one by one as she uses them she has to dump them out everytime.

Kenny gave Connor a big hug for the awesome gift he got her.

We got Avery this little dog that does flips.

George got me a Nook Color for Christmas. I got him a PS3 but we left that at home.

My parents got me some sweet basketball shorts.

George got a nice game

Lawson sat in his chair and watched everyone open their presents.

Every year my dad and josh exchange t- shirts. They are always about trash talking. This year josh's shirt is based on the fact that he thinks our advent calendar tradition is a joke. We love it. We get to turn over a block everyday of December until Christmas and on the back of the block is a picture. Last year my mom made us all one, which was greatly appreciated.

Josh and my Dad always joke about who is better at fishing.

This year my dad turned 50.

George thought it would be funny to label one of Avery's gifts To: Santa From: Avery, so we decided to let my dad open it. I think he is really going to love coloring.

George is giving Avery's pillow pet a nice hug.

Avery loves playing with her pillow pet. Thanks mom and dad.

George got me a bunch of car washes at Fabulous Freddy's. He knows how much I hate washing the car.

Avery did really good at opening her presents. As soon as she opened one she would run back to the tree and grab another one. We had to tell her to give it to the right person before she ripped it open. It was hilarious. Avery got a stroller, legos, books, a turtle night light that puts stars on the ceiling, a barbie, clothes, Cinderella doll, coloring books and crayons, a bee pillow pet, and.. I can't remember all of it, but she got spoiled.

Gen and Drew. My mom gave us all shirts with the flag of England on it and the words England Birmingham Mission on it. We got to skpe (web cam) with Chase this year. It was so good to see him and talk to him. We all sat around the computer for 2 hours and just talked.

Connor and Kenny with their pillow pets. Connor's is a dog and Kenny's is a Unicorn.
Christmas was awesome this year. I really enjoyed being with my family and watching Avery open her presents.
