My Yard Sale Man!

George doesn't work on Mondays. He usually does odd jobs around the house that are on his "To Do List". Well last Monday he was riding his bike to a store to buy a new strap for one of his
pedals and on the way there he spots a yard sale where everything is free, so I guess it was more of a yard give away. How could he resist? Decision made George pedals home and drives our explorer back over to the yard sale and grabs quite a few treasures (george's word not mine). Later that night when I got home from work he decided to show me his treasures. He was very excited about what he had found and he was hoping that I would be just as excited. I am just going to list everything that he got and you be the judge if I should have been excited. Okay here is the list: a big tv, a small white tv, three sets of speakers, a big bag that you put on your car to carry luggage and things when you travel, 3 out of style vanity lights (1 gold and 2 silver), 2 pairs of white track lighting (missing a couple pieces), a box with tubes of tar for his brother Steve to use on his roof, a old cracked red jug ( that was the first thing to go), a stud finder, a screwdriver, a wire stripper, 2 metal shelf supporters, a sprinkler, a soaker hose, 2 calculators, thermal tin foil blanket, and to top it all of if you look closely at the pictures you will see a white eraser board that says yard sale on it. Yep, you guessed it George took that too. He wasn't quite sure if that was free but no one stopped him from taking it so we are now the proud owners. Man, I love my husband :) Unfortunately, by the time I found my camera and took pictures we had already thrown most of the stuff away.

Cali... Califor... California

We went to a 4-D seasame street movie at Sea World. It was actually pretty awesome. We all got to wear these sweet glasses. The characters in the movie felt like they were coming right at us, almost as if you could touch them. The seats would vibrate at certain points in the story. Drops of water hit us and even air was shot at us from the seats in front of us. During the show I think a lot of the little kids got scared because there was a lot of crying going on.
I had to add the picture of gen and chase because they were put together as a couple the whole weekend due to the fact that they were the only single people there. They had a good bonding time.

This is the crazy chicken at the game. He would run around stealing bases during the 7th inning stretch. He stole stuff from the vendors and threw it in the crowd. He danced on the 3rd baseline with a young woman for a little bit and then a big black lady came and cut in and then to top it all off a little old lady in her eighties walked up to him with her walker and started getting groovy. She even threw her walker to the side at one point and really got down. It was hilarious. He had a ninja/dancing fight with Barney (yes the big purple giant). In the end he won but barney had some sweet moves. The reason I got such a good picture is that he came by our seats and started dancing. He kissed a young female (who I think was drunk) with his beak and then he decided to drink someones beer and then spit it out. He was pretty funny.
I love the pictures that you take on your own. I still need to perfect a way to get my arm out of the picture better.
This a lovely group picture in front of Sea World. I think that we did everything possible at Sea World. My feet were dead by the end of the day.
This is the view from our seats at the baseball game. It was the Giants vs. the Padres. The Giants won in 11 innings. We had some loser sitting to the left of us that kept yelling at the left fielder. It go so annoying I almost said something, but realized that it would not have made a difference.
A huddle among the outfielders. Number 14 was the left fielder. He made a pretty awesome catch.
I found that I can do some different frames in my camera so here is a sample. I think that I only have like 4 frames. I think that this is a good picture of my sister Gentry. I love her smile.
This is a picture of us sitting at the Dolphin Show.
These dolphins are swimming on their backs. They did some cool tricks but I couldn't catch all of them with my camera.
This is the sea otter and seal show. It was one of my favorites.
See how much milk can give you muscles. After I drank all that milk I thought my shirt was going to rip in two, like Hulk Hogan.
Jess and Josh just love their Milk!
We are scary Polar Bears!!

I just love how we would both look as penguins. Weird how our faces are still human?

Shamu the Killer Whale. The show was pretty cool. It is amazing how the animals can be trained.
This is Jessica's skirt after we went on a ride at Sea World. She got soaked. Jess could wring out her skirt and have water in a little puddle on the ground.

This is my cousin Shar and her husband Nick. She has baby #3 in her belly right now. It is going to be a little boy.
After the fun at the beach we went and ate at the Beach Fire Grill. It was yummy.
This is a group picture of us all after the Atlantis Ride at Sea World. Jess and Josh both got wetter than any of us.
Sadly that is about as far as I got into the water. I did go a little further but for some reason that day I decided to be a chicken and not go out as far as everyone else. You can see gen, jess and josh in the left corner of the picture.

A view of the beach we went to on our first day in Cali.
Me and Gen on the Pier at the San Clemente Beach. I know my hat is so awesome. It was a life saver for my face.
We all bought matching hats. I think that we all look so amazing. We decided that we were going to be triplets on our trip. Jess even came up with names for us so left to right is Adison, Adrienne, and Alison. Give it up for the fraternal triplets

Happy 27th Anniversary Mom and Dad!!

It was my parents anniversary today. I called them both and talked to them for a little while, well as much as I could while being at work, and gave them some ideas to make this day special for each other. Since I live so far away I decided to send them flowers. I know it is probably weird to send flowers to a guy but when that guy is your dad I think it's okay. I had my mom send me a picture of the flowers and I was impressed by the flower shop in Delta. The flower arrangement turned out to be very pretty. I can't believe that it has been 27 years since that wonderful August day in 1981 when two love birds were married after only knowing each other for 3 months. I love my parents so much. They have given me every opportunity that they could for me to succeed in life. They have supported me in everything that I did and were so proud of me when I would accomplish something. My life is a good reflection of how I was raised. I owe everything to my parents. They are the best. I just want to tell them how much I appreciate how they have accepted George into our family. I love you both so much. Oh, and George wanted me to tell you both that he also loves you too. I couldn't find a picture on my computer of them together so two separate pictures will have to suffice.
