Yeah, a sweet looking bedroom set

I decided today that I needed to use my new camera and actually take pictures of our new bedroom set and post those instead of the one I had put on my blog. So here it is ladies and gentlemen our new bedroom set. I have been very pleased with it so far. I still have some decorating to do, but so far I can live with what I have. The quilt on the bed was made by my grandma, my aunts, my sisters, and my mom for our wedding. It is so beautiful. They did an awesome job. I am glad that I can finally display it. I plan on taking pictures of my whole house and posting them sometime in the near future, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

A Great Loss

I know that a lot of people are probably going to post about President Hinckley, but I wanted to talk about how much I love President Hinckley. He has been the President of the church for half of my life and I really am going to miss his talks at confrence. He always had a sense of humor that I loved. He has done a lot for the church as everyone has probably heard about on the news or read about in the newspaper. He had such a great love for his wife and I am happy that they are together now. President Hinckley is a great man and prophet. I know that he is continuing to bring the gospel to people in Heaven.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

This is the new camera George got me for my birthday. I have only had it for 2 days, but I love it. It was really thoughtful of him. That night we went and ate at Olive Garden with George's parents and Brian and Lexie. I got a sweet singing card, a CD of Keith Urban's greatest hits and a target gift card from Brian and Lexie and I got a card and some money from George's parents. It was a very nice birthday and I appreciate everyones gifts. My mom sent me a card in the mail, but I haven't got it yet. I also got a very nice homemade card from my grandma and grandpa riding. I can't believe that I am 24. I just feel so old. By this time my mom already had a baby and Jess had Kenny and was prego with Connor. One of these days I will catch up.

For all who are wondering...

This is our lovely new baby named Mortimer ( apparently George and Dan had a bet and George had to name his first kid that, so now that we have done that we can move on to bigger and better names for when we have another one.)

These are our beautiful sweaters that we got for each other. George has really good taste.
Here we are frosting sugar cookies at Kate's parents house on Christmas Eve.
***I decided to add some pictures and put them on this post.
Well, I guess since everyone else has updated about their Christmas Holiday, I will do the same. This year was our year to spend with the Hadley's. All of George's family came to Hurricane. His brother Jeff and his wife Kate and their little son Ethan came from Portland. This was the first time that we met Ethan since he was born in July. He is a cute little tike. I think that he loved me the best. I could always get him to laugh. We opened our gifts on Christmas Eve since I worked on Christmas day and because George's brother steve and his wife jen had to leave Christmas day. George's parents gave us a gas grill. It was very thoughtful of them and we will definately use it when it gets warmer. George gave me some sweet gifts. He is really thoughtful. I hope he likes what I got him. We played the Wii a lot and went to the movies and ate. My parents got me a picture of the st. george temple that i absolutely love and my mom had my uncle ted build us a book shelf, which is what i really needed in my house. It takes up some extra space and it looks very nice and i love it. It gives the room a completed look. Thanks Mom and Dad!! We also bought Jeff and Katie's 1996 ford explorer, so that we would have something to drive in the mountains and to haul stuff around. I was a little skeptical about buying it, but so far it was a good choice.
For New Years Eve we went to Marv's and played games and ate food with Dan and Hailey, Brock and Angie, Shaun and Melinda, Heather and Ben and Peter and Laura. We played Battle of the Sexes, the Newlywed game and a question and answer game. All in all we had fun and the kiss I got at midnight wasn't too shabby.
