These are the shirts that we had Kenny and Connor wear the day we told my parents. We told them the weekend before Thanksgiving. The front of their shirts says," I am going to be a cousin" and on the back is says June 09, which was my due date before it got moved up a week. My parents were very excited. Jess and Josh came over that morning to have breakfast with us. My dad had gone out to the truck to get Kenny and Connor. Well, Jess tried to shield him from seeing the shirts before my mom. Jess set Kenny down and she ran into the house looking for my grandma and Connor stayed outside with my dad. I decided to run in the house and my mom was so excited looking at Kenny's shirt and she started hugging George and yelling for my dad. Then my dad walked into the house holding Connor. My mom asked him if he had read their shirts and he said yes. Then there was more hugs going on all around with some tears too. We told George's parents a couple days later with a card that had an ultrasound picture inside it. The outside of the card had two old ladies asking each other whether, "It was bucked naked or buck naked?" Then the inside said, "Either way that's how I am coming out." And then we wrote : Thanks in advance for all the babysitting, Love Baby Hadley. The ultrasound picture was on the other side. We had Brian bring it in from outside and say he had found it on their porch. He handed it to his dad and Lavar opened it and just sat there looking at it. We're not sure if he understood what he was looking at. Then he started to read the part about the babysitting and George's mom ripped the card out of his hands and said really loud, " I am getting a baby." Then she looked over at all of us (George, me, Brian, Steve, and Jenn(George's brother and wife). She wasn't sure which on of us the card was from. Once she realized it was us she came over and gave us a hug. We don't have any pictures of the day unfortunately. They are also very excited.
